Kawakubo is opening MUSEUM concept store in Tokyo

Following Dover Street Market, Kawakubo has recently built its second retail brand, TRADING MUSEUM, which was recently opened in Tokyo. It not only shows the latest series of COMME des GARCONS. At the same time, the joint series in collaboration with The Beatles also met with everyone for the first time. John Yoonono's widow Yoko Ono also attended the opening ceremony.

Compared to several “guerrilla shops” that only opened for a year in Comme des Garcons in the world in 2005, the style and decoration of TRADING MUSEUM have changed a lot. Corresponding to the trade name TRADING MUSEUM, Kawakubo Ling combined the mystery of the museum with a fashion store and displayed the costumes in the museum window. The eight eye-catching windows in the store were rented from Victoria & Albert in London.

It is believed that the well-built TRADING MUSEUM will bring a new retail era to Comme des Garcons.
