Two national standards for anti-mite and mildew resistant textiles will be implemented
In 2009, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration Committee successively approved two national standards “Evaluation of GB/T 24253-2009 Textile Flood Control Performance†and “GB/T 24346-2009 Evaluation of Textile Mildew Resistanceâ€. These two standards will be implemented on February 1, 2010.
The national standard GB/T 20944.1-2007 "Evaluation of antibacterial properties of textiles" has been implemented previously, and the above three items were drafted and formulated by the host. These three standards have ended the history of China's healthy textiles without national standards. The implementation of these three national standards will play an important role in regulating the market of China's national defense, anti-mildew and anti-bacterial textiles and promoting the innovation of functional textiles.
