Recently, “The Demeanor and the Style – The Jade Art Exhibition Unearthed from the Tomb of the King of Jiangxi in the Ming Dynasty†was opened at the Beijing Art Museum. The exhibition was jointly hosted by the Beijing Art Museum and the Jiangxi Provincial Museum. 95 pieces of jade, gold inlaid jade and inlaid gemstone gold ornaments were exhibited.
The cultural relics exhibited in Beijing mainly come from the tombs of Ninglang Wang and Yishao Wang in Jiangxi Province. The jade articles are used by Ming Wang and family members. The owners have clear and clear time, and the variety is various, the texture is radiant and carved. Delicate and beautiful, it has high ornamental and research value.
The exhibition is divided into six major units, namely, “Kuiji Etiquetteâ€, “Jade Belt Prestigeâ€, “Group Peiyuâ€, “Jade Diversifiedâ€, “Ancient Style†and “Jinyu Shenghuiâ€. Group jade and other ceremonial jade for the status of identity, jade boy, jade tube, jade collar flower and other decorative and practical jade, as well as gold inlaid jade and gemstone jewelry that have been popular since the Ming Dynasty, these are the study of the Ming Dynasty The important materials of the royal family life and socio-economic culture in the middle and late period provide a new perspective for studying the interrelationship between the central and local jade of the Ming Dynasty, and also have a good reference role for the generation and use of the jade articles.
