The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently released a new children's product tracking label requirements guide. Under the latest CPSIA, which requires the supply of children's products (including textiles and clothing) to be marked with a tracking label, indicating the place of production, production date, batch and other information so as to easily trace the possible safety of the product Question, and decide whether to recall. CPSC said the labeling requirements will not be "one size fits all." Manufacturers can decide which form fits their product better. The new rules will be formally implemented on August 14, 2009, applying to all domestic and imported products manufactured after that date.
